It's a lot easier than the other one I had (the one with the hole in the middle and you had to squeeze the sides in and keep them squeezed in as you lowered it....what a pain!) But it's still a little sloppy. It appears to be really durable; it hasn't bent, broken, or otherwise caused me any difficulties as of yet. Definitely a good buy.

I assumed I'd like the metal tool to the yellow and plastic one, but the yellow one is incredible. Place the cob inside and twist it. LOL Quick and simple. The metal one has been more difficult for me to use. The yellow item might not work on pudgy ears, but most people get by just fine.

This is one of my all-time favorite kitchen gadgets! It's the only way I prepare corn anymore, and it couldn't be simpler or better. I couldn't ask for anything more than effortless and efficient service! There will be no more corn caught between my front teeth. It also extends the life of the corn; I "strip" a few cobs into a bowl, add butter and salt, and serve to the family in a huge bowl!

I liked how comfortable the handle was! The instrument was simple to use and clean afterward!

This peeler is fantastic. I used the solution to remove corn from the Cobb and it worked beautifully and was really simple to use.
